To achieve high-speed grinding, there are certain requirements for the grinder, grinding wheel, grinding wheel spindle structure, motor, protection, cooling, etc. 1、 Requirements for Grinding Machine Structure:

During the grinding process, due to the increase in the linear speed of the grinding wheel, the feed rate and grinding force, the internal cylindrical grinder cannot have vibration and requires sufficient rigidity. The vibration generated by the grinder should also have sufficient rigidity. There are many factors that contribute to the vividness of CNC grinding machines, including the grinding wheel frame guide rail, grinding wheel, motor, and pulley. Therefore, appropriate improvements need to be made to avoid vibration.

The gap between the grinding wheel spindle and the bearing of the CNC grinder should be appropriately increased. Therefore, when the speed of the grinding wheel increases, the friction between the surface of the shaft and the bearing intensifies, which can easily cause shaft hugging due to thermal expansion. Generally, the gap between the grinding wheel spindle and the bearing is between 0.03mm-0.04mm.

The temperature inside the grinding wheel spindle box should not exceed 40 degrees, and circulating cooling should be adopted to reduce the bearing temperature.

A、 Requirements for workpieces, grinding wheels, and motors in high-speed grinding:

The rotational speed of the workpiece should be correspondingly increased.

1. High speed grinding wheels must be selected for the grinding wheel, and the appropriate grinding wheel should be chosen according to the line speed of the grinding wheel.

2. The belt of the grinding wheel should use an unloading device.

B、 Requirements for cooling protection

In order to prevent accidents caused by the breakage of the grinding wheel during high-speed rotation, it is necessary to thicken the grinding wheel protective cover and reduce the opening angle of the grinding wheel protective cover.
